Hi, traveler ✨I’m Marjana and I am glad to welcome you here.This is my safe space, my blank canvas and my white board - a place where all my creative endeavours are born, raised and released into the world. I’m writing, managing and art directing my two bands - Iamthemorning (with Gleb Kolyadin) and Maer (with Anna Murphy) and you’ll see much news about these two projects here, before anyone else will.But above all, I’m preparing to release into the world my new solo album, and people on my Patreon accompanied me every step of the way, just like they did with the previous five releases I made since I started my page in 2019.Here, I share sketches and demos, ask for opinions and advice, share grievances about my lows and celebrate my highs and my Patreon Discord server is my ultimate favourite focus group, the only place online i am actually properly present. A lot is cooking up there at the moment with a dedicated channel for my new album.This is what makes it all possible for me. My community, people that care about me and are there for me - and thanks to them I can survive in England, create more art and stay the hell out of my native country, Russia, a place where for my views and support of Ukraine i’d go to jail.UK Home Office and Arts Council are keeping an eye on me - I have to be earning with music as I am here on Exceptional Talent visa - but it's only a year to go until I get the passport, and what a change to my life that would bring!
